Why we're drinking this
The label alone draws you in; it looks like a poster that would be nailed to a tree in the Wild West, complete with the description "Carefully Matured in American Oak." The vintage also suggests the likelihood of a ‘youthful roughness’. The Wanted Zin is a big and powerful wine. It is fun to drink, and the components vary from vintage to vintage. It’s just the right way the enjoy the evenings.

Tasting note
Full-bodied. Deep ruby in colour, releasing dried fruit, cherry, plum, blueberry, and spice; rounded mouthfeel with a juicy mid-palate filled with flavours of dried fruit, mulberry, herbs, and spice. Forceful on the palate. Smooth, with a good overall balance, offering spicy tones and a lengthy finish.
