Tastes like: A refined cedary French oak with ripe berry flavours, lingering on the finish. It is deep, tannic and chewy it would be best to let it breathe before drinking.
Pairs with: Fortunately, we still have grilling weather, highly recommend this with red meat. Want to try something sweet instead? Dark chocolate will do.
Good for: This is a restrained powerhouse of a wine that needs a good breath of oxygen to reach full expression. Decanting or swirling for at least five minutes in your glass is recommended. For a fairly serious dinner — this wine should impress and give them something to talk about!

Why we're drinking this
Winemaker Aurelio Montes has won Winemaker of the Year twice and we can see why with this juice, making a rich and heavy selection a great value. A ripe and stunning ruby color with intense fruit and nutmeg flavours! It is sophisticated, and will undoubtedly thrill.

Tasting note
Full-bodied. It is well balanced, a ruby red colour, with traces of dill, smoke and deep fruit. The traditional cassis fruit, amid chocolate and herbal notes.
