Why we're drinking this
We don’t like to make judgments but honestly: if you don’t like rosé there may be something wrong with you. Dig deep into rosé and you’ll find a universe of styles and grapes, from uber dry to slightly sweet, from deep salmon coloured to barely pigmented. Still and sparkling, etc. We love them all. And this example from Spanish wine house Chivite is a continual favourite. It’s always good value even without the buck off. Get a few today and plan a weekend party on the deck, patio, lawn, etc. It’s time for joy.

Tasting note
Very pretty salmon-pink colour. It’s just so pretty to observe. The nose is delightfully fresh with pink and red berries and a touch of lemon-lime, even a little rhubarb. That’s about it, and that’s all you need. It’s dry and medium weight, so it can go nicely with cold meats and well-flavoured fish dishes, or roast guinea hen. Lovely texture. Clean medium finish.
