  Why we're drinking this
  When it comes to Chardonnay, there’s not a lot that makes us as excited as a trip to Ravine Vineyard in Niagara-on-the Lake. It’s a joyous place, with sheep roaming the fields, thirsty customers bustling in the tasting room, and happy people tucking into some of the finest vineyard fare in Niagara at the restaurant. All of that joy comes through in the wines, and this Chardonnay is a particular treat. Great care is evident, a judicious deployment of oak nicely accenting the ripe and generous fruit. Ravine enjoys some lovely warm weather that lingers over long autumn evenings — perfect for kissing those grapes with extra love. What mother wouldn’t love that?

  Tasting note
  Subtly perfumed, restrained yet concentrated, there’s serious power coiled up in this bottle. Fragrant notes of apple pie, tangerine, vanilla bean and hazelnut. Dry but generously mouth-coating, with sweet spice buoying the fruit and finishing long and longingly. Medium weight, a powerhouse with a delicate dance. Irresistible.
