Tastes like
Spicy, herbal red plum and blueberry, with seductive leafy and earthy notes. Seriously concentrated, a real heavy-weight. Dried herbs like marjoram, tomato vine. Sommelier Zoltan Szabo calls it “soul warming.” The wine has very pretty aromatics and good length, says sommelier Lindsay Groves. A stellar cab with impressive intensity and character. Big steaks, rare roast beef, meaty stew Hungarian-style, says Szabo, with lots of paprika.
